How to set up access to Video and document content associated with the textbook:
Website Instructions For Students: Before using the MAPLESOFT HIS 101 OR MAPLESOFT HIS 102 portal in Blackboard, you must first validate your account. Please go to: https://kendallhunt2.mapleserver.com/westernworldvolume1/login/login.do and enter the Username and Password you received with your textbook. On the validation page, input your name, student ID, and most importantly, the email associated with your Blackboard account (Your Jefferson State Email). Once you have updated this information, hit Submit at the bottom and exit the window. You will now be able to access the Mobius portal in Blackboard. Students may also use any Kendall Hunt instructions they received with their textbook to validate their account, but their email MUST remain the same between both systems (MAPLESOFT is case sensitive as well). Once the email is the same and saved, students can to use the MAPLESOFT link with no issues. How to access Blackboard:
1. Go to www.jeffersonstate.edu 2. Click on MyJSCC 3. Login 4. In the tab section on the right click on Blackboard Courses 5. Open up the Class Western Civilization
To access Video and Documents from the textbook on Blackboard:
1. Follow the above instructions to register your email and student ID with the website and then log into Blackboard via the MyJSCC tab on the Jefferson State website 2. Once you are in Blackboard click on the Content tab located on the left side of the screen 3. Then click on the MapleSoft HIS 101 in the Content section 4. It will take you to a webpage letting you know you are going to a different website, click Launch to launch the textbook website 5. On the textbook website click on the chapter for your assigned document reading or video. Then on the right hand side click on either video or document for your assigned video or reading.
